iResize is a .Net application that can instantly resize a batch of images to a specified resolution.
A number of image formats are supported (JPEG, BMP, GIF, PNG).
You can also easily transform 4:3 images into 16:9 images, such that fit the new widescreen laptops in the market, with no ratio distortion, since the program automatically crops the source images.
The .Net 2 Framework should be installed in order for the program to function.
