Retriever is a download manager that supports HTTP, FTP, and BitTorrent transfers, it supports all the functions required for easy downloading of files from the Internet including resume, pausing, and scheduling and presents its information in an easy-to-use interface while providing detailed information on content delivery and a graph that displays download speed in real time.
It also features the ability to modify the programs icons as well as the look and feel. Retriever also provides support for proxy servers. Retriever will capture download links copied to the clipboard or multiple links can be dragged and dropped onto the download list.
Retriever also integrates with Internet Explorer to capture downloads directly from the browser. The application is distributed using an easy-to-use installer that provides integration with Windows operating system.
