Split and Join is the fastest utility that enables you to split large files into pieces small enough to transport on floppy disk.
Select the file and the destination folder, and then enter the size of each piece in bytes to do the deed.
A number of popular split sizes are readily available to choose from. You can also apply optional file compression.
You can compress before splitting and uncompress the file you desire after reassembling in a fast way.
In addition to splitting the file, Split and Join also creates a small batch (bat) file you can use to reassemble the pieces.
